Wanna Impress me ????

Day before one of my friend's asked me as to "What should i do do impress you ? " .. I didnt have an answer then,so i told him that i will write a post on How do impress me ;o) ..

im·press1 (ĭm-prĕs') tr.v., -pressed, -press·ing, -press·es.

To affect strongly, often favorably: wrote down whatever impressed me during the journey; was impressed by the child's sincerity.
To produce or attempt to produce a vivid impression or image of: a scene that impressed itself on her memory; impresses the value of money on their children.
To mark or stamp with or as if with pressure: impressed a design on the hot wax.
To apply with pressure; press.

Nothing materialistic impresses me . Most of the time its the person's behaviour or attitude which has impressed me.

I am very much impressed with my aunt the way she has bought up her two small children .They are so well behaved and cute :o) . The elder one ( 5+ years old ) has so many questions to ask but my aunt makes sure she has got her answers.

My friend S by whom i was impressed the very first day i met him. His lively attitude towards life is what impressed. We were all making dinner and suddenly there was a song in TV he suddenly started to dance and even pulled others also. There have been many other occasions i have been impressed by him. The way he talks about his future life with the love of his life and his kids... [He is happily married now and getting to know the responsibilities of life ;o) ]

One of my flatmates who was younger to me impressed me by the way she used to talk to her mother . She used to talk to her mother as if she was talking to her best friend. Even i have spoken to her mother ..

My best friend's family - Last year when i went for his wedding to Kerla i met his family and whole lot of cousins .I reached at 9 o'clock in the night and the enviroment was lovely ..everyone sitting together and singing old hindi songs .Even the wedding day was fun . His Uncle and Aunt were so enthusiatic and energetic that we youngesters were nothing in front of them.

Day before yesterday i had been to this small shop to buy buttons for my dress and i met this small girl in the shop. She was in her school uninform, a 6th standard student. She was helping her mom in shop .When i asked her whether she had finished her homework ,she answered 'yes' with a nice smile.

I am really impressed with my manager who even though doesn't know the technology so well is ready to help us and do any kind of R & D on the application even at the middle of the night.

My aunt who got married at the age of 18 and came to my granny's house when all my uncles and aunts were still studying in college ( BTW my mom's is a cricket family ,11 of them) . She has looked after the house and everyone who comes to the house so well that i have always wondered how does she do it. Her morning starts at 5:30 a.m in the morning and ends at 10:30 in the night after everyone has had dinner (even the dogs and the cats) .

My friend who recently got married ,it was a love marriage ,not everyone was for it so there were problems here and there even on the day of marriage, but she was prepared for everything ,she handled it very well.

Its the small moments in other people's life where i was part and some of them have left a lasting impression in my mind...

Many a times it would have been a smile which would have impressed me... so just give me a smile and maybe i will get impressed ..even i don't get impresses ,you are sure to get a big smile back with all my 32 teeths which i am famous for ;o) ....

Below photo impressed me :o)

Note: The reason it impresses me is because i took the picture ;o) !!!!

Sincerity doesn't pay....

Yesterday i felt that i have been too sincere towards my work but nobody respected it. Every single day i reach office early ,i am the first one to reach and almost the last one to leave. Any time of the day if there is work , i do it and finish it no matter how much time it takes. But then yesterday it made me think ..Is my sincerity being misused? Am i being too sincere ? And all these questions have made me stay back home and not go to office early today .. I am at home and writing this post ...
