A Weekend with camera ..

A Chill Saturday Morning at 7:30 A.M ..Near Anjaneya Swamy temple ..intersection of K.G.Road and Avenue Road ..14 of us from the Bangalore Weekend Shoots group with cameras joined together for a session of street photography . All of us from different fields and background but the common thing which got all of us together was photography .
.
It was my first time with the group but i really enjoyed it ! I didnt know anybody and had not even met any one of them. I had known few of them through the online group where all of us share photos.Intially it seemed like I was the only girl but later 4 of them joined ! Everyone with Big camera bags with all their camera gears and some others with point and shoot camera .Everyone had different cameras but the objective was the same !!!
.
Early morning Bangalore has got lot of activities going on .People praying from across the road ..People picking up the road side garbage ..elderly people having a chit chat on the stone bench [wearing the monkey cap to protect them for cold ..People sitting and reading newspapers on the pavement..People eating hot steaming idlis and dosa on the road side ..Vegetable Vendors selling fresh vegetables.Flower Seller ..school kids in their colorful uniforms.. road side Tea ..all sorts of activities.. It was good time capturing some common people in our cameras ..
.
Although common people but they were surrounded by so many colors (from photographic point of view) .14 of us with big cameras and gears attracted lot of attention .. Lot of questions asked as to whether we were from Times of India /Press or Shooting etc ,etc .we also had our part of fun telling them we were students .we were from chitraakala parishad etc ,etc .Everytime someone asked me a question i had a different answer and i was enjoying it ! As we entered the interiors of the K.R.Market there was lot of hustle bustle ...People opening their shops..People setting up their shops ..Some of them having their hot cup of tea (Even i had the road side Masala Tea ..it was good i must say!! ).
.
All of us entered the flower Market which was underground .flower market as the name implies was filled with flowers everywhere It was most colorful site i had ever seen in my life .Sooooo many flowers everywhere and so many colors . The smile on my face never got diminished that day .. And when people were hesitant about the camera ,i tuk a snap and showed it to them ..they were really happy to see the result so fast. The smile on their face was really wonderful ..i had the same smile on my face .I managed to get one red rose and one chrysanthum from two of the flower vendors as their token of thanks to me ..i was thrilled !!!!! It was nearing 12 in the noon ..although my legs were aching i didnt want to stop clicking ! I took around 400 shots that day and most of them came good !! It was lovely day at the street of bangalore with common people who made my day really worthwhile !Last but not the least ...a Slideshow of the outcome of the shootout ..
